Lot Description

A late Victorian gold banded agate pendant, circa 1880. The oval banded agate cabochon, within a similarly-set surround. Length 4.3cms. Weight 16.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.



<li>Principal banded agate with two drill-holes, deficient central panel.

<li>Deficient surmount loop, jump ring bent.

<li>Reverse with deep recess, glazed panel reverse probably deficient.

<li>Banded agate to the surround graduate in brown, lightening to the base.<p>

<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
