A mid 19th century garnet and split pearl ring. The paste cabochon, within a split pearl surround, with tapered shoulders. Personal engraving to the reverse 'ECE'. Ring size M. Weight 6.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of resize.
<li>Paste cabochon replacement.
<li>Split pearls with white body colour and chalky lustre.
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion.<p>
