An early 19th century gold ivory clasp, with later bracelet. The oval-shape sepia and hair panel, depicting lovers creating a message on a tree, within a split pearl surround, to the later multi-strand cultured pearl bracelet. Length of clasp 4cms. Length of bracelet 18cms. Total weight 34.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some split pearls to clasp surround show discolouration, some small chips and wear.
<li>Some probable replacement split pearls.
<li>Hair is macerated into the sepia paint.
<li>Glass shows some relatively deep scratches.
<li>Small chip to the edge of the glass, noticeable under magnification.
<li>Cultured pearls to bracelet well matched.
<li>Re-stringing recommended.
