An early 20th century gold ruby and diamond sword brooch. The plain blade, with cushion-cut ruby and old-cut diamond pommel and grip. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 5.5cms. Weight 3.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Varied inclusions, some surface reaching. One diamond with small nick.
<li>Ruby is a medium deep slightly purplish red hue, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Ruby in fair condition with moderate abrasions.<p>
