Lot Description
A set of mid Victorian Etruscan archaeological revival gold, lava cameo jewellery, circa 1870. The pendant designed as a Maltase cross of four vari-hue ram's head lava cameo chevrons, the earrings each designed as a lava Maltase cross suspended from a ram head and kite-shape lava surmount. Length of pendant 5.2cms. Length of earrings 4.5cms. Total weight 15.5gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Pendant with jump ring surmount, possible replacement.
<li>Ear pendants with replacement fittings.
<li>Wear to gilt finish on ram heads on ear pendants.
<li>Areas of localised discolouration.
<li>Noticeable dirt and possible discolouration towards the edges of the lava sections.
<li>Earrings with screw back fittings for non-pierced ears, stamped 9ct.
