A late 19th century garnet, split pearl and diamond pendant. The rose-cut diamond star, atop an oval garnet cabochon, within a split pearl marquise-shape panel, with graduated bead and fringe accent, suspended from a 15ct gold rope-twist chain. Length of pendant 6.7cms. Length of chain 45.5cms. Total weight 10.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Pendant converted from another piece of jewellery.
<li>An area of soft solder visible to the reverse of pendant.
<li>One part of the fringe has had a possible repair.
<li>Some small localised areas of discolouration.
<li>Split pearls with cream body colour and chalky lustre.
<li>Some split pearls replacements.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
