ASPREY - an Art Deco 9ct gold diamond necessaire. The rectangular-shape engine-turned case, with diamond point monogram and grips, opening to reveal hinged compartments, mirror, money clip and ivory page with Sampson Mordan 9ct gold pencil. Case with maker's marks for Asprey. Case with hallmarks for London, 1928. Length 8.3cms. Total weight 127.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One diamond deficient from monogram surround.
<li>Initials BH.
<li>Ivory is discoloured.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Mirror shows scratches and discolouration.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
