A late Georgian gold mourning watch key. The oval panel, with hair floral panel and initials 'S.S.D.C.', to the plain key shaft and surmount loop. Foreign marks. Length 4.4cms. Weight 5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Moderate wear to glass mount.
<li>Glass with significant light abrasion and few small deeper scratches.
<li>Gold back of case with shallow ripple dents.
<li>Surmount loop slightly bent to one side.
