Lot Description
An open face pocket watch by Thomas Wheeler. Silver case, hallmarked Chester 1823. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White dial. 52mm. Together with two open face fob watches, one silver example and one continental white metal example.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial shows marks, subsidiary dial has sunken at an angle.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Hinge holding the case back on is broken and it can become detached. Case has marks, scratches and dents. Case also shows visible wear and tarnishing.
<li>Pendent has dents, marks, scratches and tarnishing.<p>
Associated pocket watches are not currently functioning. Dials show marks (one watch has a crack between two and three). Cases have marks, scratches and tarnishing. One watch has visible wear to plating on the crown.<p>
