Two Sampson Mordan & Co. 9ct gold retractable pencils. Each of similar telescopic form, one having personal engraved cartouche, hallmarked London 1915 and 1930, each 5" (12.5cm) long fully extended. (2).

Engraved examples displaying wear and rubbing to the whole with multiple small dints. Other with minor wear and signs of use with few small knocks. Release mechanism to each a little stiff but still working. Hallmarks to each with rubbing but still legible.
