An 18ct gold Sampson Mordan & Co. retractable pencil of telescopic form with further Asprey retailer's mark, plus a similar 9ct gold Sampson Mordan & Co pencil holder, each having textured barrel with personal engraved cartouche, hallmarked London 1928 and 1964 respectively, each 3.1" (8cm) long closed. (2).

18ct gold example with slight damage to release mechanism and so does not appear to extend. Each in overall fair condition displaying general light signs of wear and use with surface rubbing, marks, tarnishing and minor knocks. Hallmarks to each with rubbing but still legible.
