An early 19th century ivory toothpick case, of canted rectangular form, the hinged cover inset with a painted oval miniature panel depicting a figure looking out to shore, within seed pearl decorated border, 3.5" (9cm) wide, another similar example, the cover inset with a hair and seed pearl memorial panel, 3.5" (9cm) wide, and another of tapered form, the cover inset with a shaped convex glass panel, together with a small oval enamelled panel within seed pearl border.
