A 19th century pressed shellac circular box, the removable cover inset with a painted portrait miniature depicting a lady wearing a blue dress with lace trim, 2.25" (5.5cm) diameter, a late 19th century carved ivory circular box, the removable cover inset with a painted portrait miniature depicting a lady, indistinctly signed, 2.5" (6.5cm) diameter, another circular box, its removable cover inset with a circular miniature landscape study, 3" (7.5cm) diameter, shagreen oval case, etc.
