An unusual 19th century ivory box of tapered oval form, the top with concealed hinged panel, opening to reveal a portrait miniature depicting a nude female bather, the interior lacking mirror to underside of hinged top, 4" (10cm) wide, together with a 19th century circular patch box and cover, the yellow metal mounted removable cover, detailed with an applied painted porcelain panel depicting a young girl (s/d), 3" (7.5cm) diameter.
