Two mid 19th century oil paintings on canvas, the first a half length portrait of Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson, 18" x 14" (46cm x 35.5cm), the second depicting the Duke of Wellington, 12" x 10" (30cm x 25.5cm), both unsigned and unframed. (2).

Both pictures have significant signs of wear, including surface crazing, paint flaking and subsequently minor paint losses, particularly to edges, scratches, etc.
Both paintings have evidence of over painting and crude restoration.
