A 19th century French porcelain-mounted gilt metal mantel clock
Japy Freres, retailed by Henri Marc, Paris
The 3.5-inch cellular Roman dial signed H MARC PARIS and painted with Cupid over trophies, the two-train movement outside countwheel-striking on a bell, with 1855 Japy Freres exposition stamp and further stamp for Henri Marc, the architectural case with urn surmount (a/f) over 'broken' pediment, fluted columns and a platform base with further columns, 17.75", (45cm) high, together with a pair of near matching two-branch (three-light) candelabra, (3).
