A French brass cased carriage clock, L'Epee, the white enamel dial having Roman hours and Arabic minutes, marked 'L'Epee Foundee en 1839, Sainte Suzanne France', and above a subsidiary alarm dial, the two-train movement with lever platform escapement and striking on a coiled gong, the back plate with L'Epee crossed swords mark and 'Made in France 11 Eleven jewels', within an Anglaise Riche brass case 6" (15.25cm) high excluding carry handle.
