A good Arts & Crafts oak hall wardrobe.
In the manner of Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple, the shallow single robe having a moulded cornice over long door centred by a Newlyn-type metalwork panel hammered in relief as a flowering plant, enclosing coat rails, the robe beside a solid canopied seat beneath a cabinet with stained glass door, the whole with period strap hinges, backplates and handles, retailer's plaque verso 'Bennett Bros. Birmingham, 70" x 22" x 84" high, (178cm x 56cm x 213cm), (s/d).
