ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Air King Super Precision "Golden Egg" wrist watch. Circa 1958. Gold plated case with stainless steel case back. Reference 5500, serial 374831. Signed automatic calibre 1530. White dial with triangular hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned brown custom Metta Catharina reindeer leather strap with signed gold plated pin buckle. 35mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial has been refinished.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows light scratches and marks.
<li>Crown screws down and has light scratches and marking.
<li>Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
<li>Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.<p>
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers. A Certificate of Authenticity is included for the custom watch strap.<p>
