ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Date Sea-Dweller "Double Red" bracelet watch. Circa 1972....

<li>Movement is currently functioning.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.

<li>Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial has a visible scratch revealing the metal below the paint that runs around the upper edge of the dial between eleven and two minutes past twelve.

<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Hands are a service replacement, however these hands are believed to be by Rolex.

<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.  

<li>Case shows light scratches and marks. Bezel is a service replacement, we believe this to have been replaced in roughly circa 2007 by Rolex however it is not the correct bezel for the age of the watch and was from the "current stocks" at the time.

<li>Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.

<li>Bracelet has light scratches and some signs of light stretching to links. Bracelet was replaced in circa 1998 as part of a service conducted by Rolex, however it is not the original bracelet that the watch was supplied with.

<li>Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks.

<li>Bracelet measures approximately 18.5cm including case.<p>

<p>This lot comes with a box but no papers, however the watch does include copies of letters detailing the services by Rolex and when they confirm as well as confirmation of the original sale by the retailing jeweller.<p>
