A late Victorian gold ruby and diamond five-stone ring, circa 1900. The graduated old-cut diamonds, with oval-shape ruby intervals and diamond point accents. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Ring size N. Weight 3.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Possible replacement gemstones.
<li>One replacement brilliant-cut diamond point.
<li>Abrasion and chips visible to some of the diamond points.
<li>Some claws appear to have broken off and are not covering the stones, they may need to be secured.
<li>Rubies medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Surface reaching fracture to one of the rubies<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
