A mid 18th century gold diamond and enamel mourning ring, circa 1760. The foil-back cushion-shape diamond, to the white enamel scroll band with raised personal script reading 'Sarah Glass OB 16 Jan 1761 AE 24'. Dimensions of diamond 6 by 5.2mms (depth restricted). Ring size S. Weight 3.8gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Collet to the diamond is worn in areas.
<li>Some possible deterioration to the foil backing.
<li>The diamond is drawing colour, with significant dark inclusions visible with the unaided eye and visible to chip to corner.
<li>Enamel is heavily damaged with several areas completely worn away.
