An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a split pearl surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 5.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li> Width of brooch 2.3cms<p>
<li> Dimensions of amethyst 13.65 by 16.9 by 8.7mms.
<li>Amethyst medium slight pinkish purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li> Amethyst with chip to facet edge visible without magnification. <p>
<li> Pearls with slight yellowish white lustre. <p>
<li>With safety chain/clasp.<p>
<li>Stamped 9ct.
