Lot Description

A pair of 1970's silver Sherry goblets in fitted blue cases, the plain form standing on a knopped stem leading to a splayed circular foot, hallmarked Barker Ellis Silver Co, Birmingham 1973. Maximum height measures 4 1/2 inches (11cm), gross weight 8.43 ozt (262.2 grams).

In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some remnants of polish to the interior and underneath the base. Both fitted cases with blue silk lining in good condition, hinges sit flush, with some very minor white marks. Hallmarks clear and legible. The date mark was a special mark used in 1973 to commemorate bi-centenary of Birmingham office.
