An Edwardian silver lidded casket or caddy, the scalloped tapered body with silver-gilt interior upon four paw feet, engraved to the base '1904-1954', hallmarked Charles Stuart Harris, London 1901, maximum height measures 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm). Together with a silver shell butter dish raised on three ball feet, hallmarked James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin), Sheffield 1910, Gross weight 7.15 ozt (222.4 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The casket lid shuts but does not sit fully flush, slight wobble to the piece, some minor loss of definition to the edges and corners. Minor interior dent underneath the lip of the body. Engraved to the base '1904-1964', full hallmarks are clear and legible, some rubbing to the 'C' of the maker's mark inside the lid. No engravings to the butter dish, some minor loss of definition and tarnishing to the interior bowl, hallmarks rubbed but still legible.
