Lot Description

A George V silver chalice, the detachable plain bowl having a gilt interior and raised upon a tall knopped stem leading to the spreading circular base with cross engraving and beaded rim. Hallmarked London 1915. Height measures 7 inches (18 cm), weight 9.7 ozt (301.7 grams).

The chalice appears in good condition with light tarnishing, surface wear and scratches throughout. The hallmarks are mostly clear and legible excluding the maker's mark which is partly distorted.
