Lot Description
A 1920's Scottish silver sugar bowl, the plain bowl having scalloped rim and engraved date and initials, raised upon three lion mask and paw feet. Hallmarked Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh 1923. Diameter measures 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm), weight 3.84 ozt (119.71 grams). Together with a nineteenth century Dutch silver punch ladle, having spouted bowl leading to the part-twisted baleen handle, marked with a crowned V, foreign tax mark, length measures 16 4/8 inches (42 cm). Condition Report
Bowl appears in good to fair condition although a dent to bowl. Otherwise with minor surface rubbing and scratching. Hallmarks clear and legible.
Ladle appears in fair condition although with soft solder repair to the join of the stem to bowl. With general light surface wear and scratching. Marks with rubbing but legible. Chip to baleen handle.
