Lot Description

A pair of 1920's silver sauce boats, each of plain form having a lobed rim and with foliate capped scrolling handle, hallmarked Blackmore & Fletcher Ltd., London 1920, length measures 6 6/8 inches (17 cm). Together with another silver sauce boat having reeded rim and anthemion capped handle, raised upon a spreading foot, S Blackensee & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1925, length 7 6/8 inches (19.75 cm). Gross weight 14.83 ozt (461.2 grams).

The lot appears in overall good condition although with small splits to lobed rims of pair and one with slight compression to bowl and foot. Single larger example with light surface scratching. Hallmarks throughout are rubbed and worn but still legible.
