A modern silver mounted claret jug, the diamond cut tapering glass body rising to a silver collar having foliate engraved vacant cartouche, with domed hinged lid and scrolled handle. Hallmarked Charles S Green & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1971. Maximum height to finial measures 12 3/4 (32.5 cm).

In good overall condition, displaying some general light wear, surface marks and scratches. Light tarnishing to silver. Hinged lid in good working condition. A few minor edge nibbles to glass. Hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark a little rubbed. Part hallmarks to lid.
