Lot Description
A mid-twentieth century silver mounted glass decanter, the cut-glass mallet shape body rising to a plain silver neck with flared rim and a mushroom glass stopper. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1968. Maximum height measures 9 3/4 inches (24.8 cm).

Condition Report
The decanter appears in good overall condition, displaying some general light wear and surface marks and scratches. Light tarnishing to silver mount and a couple of minor nicks/dints. Some minor nibbles to glass. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark a little rubbed.
