Lot Description
A French silver salt, of lobed and bulbous form having a foliate scrollwork hinged cover opening to reveal a shallow and gilt interior, with boar and Minerva head mark plus lozenge maker's mark, height measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm). Together with a pair of bud vases of tapering and part fluted form below an undulating border and frilled rim, an Eastern sauce boat of tear-drop form having vacant shield cartouche amidst foliate scrollwork, a small Eastern silver dish, marked 800 HU, an Eastern caster plus a caddy spoon having planished finish.

Condition Report
Overall the lot appears in fair condition. French salt with light rubbing, tarnishing and few small dints to body, hallmarks are worn and maker's mark partly distorted with letters M and R visible within lozenge. Bud vases each with slight distortion to foot and so do not stand straight plus heavy rubbing throughout and are not marked. Caster with dent to base and other small knocks. Other items each displaying general light rubbing and wear.
