A turn of the century Russian silver paper knife by Faberge, the plain cylindrical form interspaced to the handle with a mount of panelled stylised floral motifs with Greek-key border. Maker's mark for K. Faberge in Cyrillic script below the Imperial Moscow warrant mark of a double-headed eagle, Russian Kokoshnik mark (1896-1907), fineness mark of 84, the assay master probably Ivan Lebedkin. Length measuring 11 inches (28 cm), weight 4.3 ozt (134 grams).

Condition Report
Displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Matt/satin finish. There are some heavier scratches. Nicks to blade edge. Tip is also worn with an area of discolouration. Russian assay marks a little worn but clearly legible.
