A mid-Victorian ivory handled silver stilton scoop. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co., Sheffield 1856. Length measures 8 3/4 inches (22.2 cm).

The scoop displays general wear and tarnishing. Some quite heavy surface marks and scratches are visible, especially to the scoop. Ferrule is possibly not original. Large crack through ivory and remnants of filling. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
