A mid-Victorian silver Queens pattern ladle and serving spoon, having rampant lion crest to the terminals. Hallmarked John & Henry Lias, London 1842. Length of ladle measures 13 4/8 inches (34.25 cm), gross weight 18.7 ozt (581.7 grams).

The ladle and spoon both appear in good condition displaying general surface wear and scratching commensurate with age and use plus a few small dints throughout. Hallmarks are clear and legible although maker's mark to ladle is worn.
