Lot Description
A mid-Victorian set of silver fish servers, table and desert knives and forks for twelve settings, the servers having foliate piercing and fish engraving with similar detailed fish engraving to the table knives and forks, and foliate to the dessert knives and forks, each with baluster handle having vacant oval cartouche terminal. Hallmarked George Unite, Birmingham 1880. Length of server measures 12 4/8 inches (31.75 cm), gross weight 66.1 ozt (2056.1 grams).

Condition Report
The lot appears in overall good to fair condition displaying signs of wear and areas of tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Handles throughout are rubbed and with few small knocks and dints. Silver blades and forks each with general light surface scratching but engravings are still clear. Servers are both hallmarked to blade/fork and handles, other knives and forks are hallmarked to blades/forks only. Hallmarks throughout are clear and legible.
