An early eighteenth century Britannia silver spoon, having an initialled and tapering terminal to the plain stem and rat-tail reverse, hallmarked Benjamin Watts, London, length measures 7 6/8 inches (19.5 cm). Together with a similar early silver fork having the same initial to the lobed terminal, hallmarks indistinct, 6 5/8 inches (17 cm). Gross weight 2.09 ozt (65.08 grams).
