Lot Description
A late Victorian silver handle shoe horn having fluted and acanthus decoration, hallmarked E S Barnsley & Co, Birmingham 1898, a 1960's silver salt and pepper set each having raised girdle and upon a circular foot, Viner's Ltd., Sheffield 1961&2, plus a silver pen tray, John Rose, Birmingham 1967. Together with a continental silver filigree card case, marked VW beside 800, a silver scent bottle embossed with foliage surrounding a vacant cartouche and with screw thread cover, marked 825, plus a small needle case, with lozenge mark beside 825. Gross weight excluding shoe horn 9.69 ozt (301.4 grams).

Condition Report
Items in overall fair condition. Shoe horn with light rubbing to handle and wear to steel blade. Small dent to pepper and area of wear to top of salt. Pen tray with dent to rim of one handle and with areas of tarnishing to tray commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks throughout clear and legible. Other items in fair condition displaying general light surface marks and rubbing to embossed decoration.
