An Art Nouveau silver purse, of oblong form having stylised floral decoration framing personal engravings to each face and opening to a concertina interior, hallmarked Thomas Biston, Birmingham 1913, length measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver vesta case, William Henry Sparrow, Birmingham 1905, an Art Deco silver compact, Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1934, etc., plus a small selection of plated items to include a pair of meat skewers, etc. Gross silver weight 8.57 ozt (266.5 grams).

Condition Report
The lot appears in overall fair to poor condition. Silver purse with heavy rubbing, wear and knocks causing slight distortion and with wear to interior lining. Vesta case with minor dent and no personal engravings. Compact with rubbing and wear to exterior but hinge and clasp are in fair condition. Shot barrel with knocks and dents throughout and with date engraving. All other items displaying wear, scratches and signs of use. Hallmarks throughout with minor wear but still legible.
