Lot Description

A bog oak seal set with an amethyst, the lobed and tapering form having gold coloured mounts with trailing leaf decoration. Middle section tests as 18ct gold and other mounts test as 14ct gold. Height measures 5.5 cm.

The seal appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Visible crack to the wood just below the amethyst surmount.
