Lot Description
A late Victorian miniature silver photograph frame of rectangular form, the border inset with red and green hardstone panels in between engraved floral scrolls, with wire easel back and raised on two ball feet, hallmarked James Fenton & Co., Birmingham 1900, maximum height measuring 4.8 cm. Together with an early twentieth century plain silver frame with suspension loop, hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Chester 1920, height measuring 7.6 cm, and a hinged four section modern folding frame, each with oval aperture, hallmarked London 1989, height measuring 5.5 cm. Condition Report
All three frames display general wear and tarnishing, also surface marks and scratches. Heavier wear around edges and corners and some heavier scratches/marks visible to some areas. Also a few minor dints. Small edge chips to the hardstone panels. There is a small crack in the metal to one section of the folding frame. Hinges all appear in good working order. Hallmarks are mostly clear and legible.
