Both pieces display some general wear, surface marks and scratches in keeping with their age and general use. The cylindrical case has several losses to the inlay and also a few edge chips. Possibly missing metal rim mount to lower section. The notebook appears in fairly poor condition to certain areas, for example missing corner section to reverse. The interior and spine are also very worn and discoloured with tears, losses and the middle section can be completely removed. However the inlay decoration to the front appears in fairly good overall condition.
