A mother-of-pearl box of octagonal sided form with metal mounts, the hinged cover inset with oval enamel panel depicting a classical allegorical scene, length measuring 7 cm. Together with a rectangular shape mother-of-pearl box with engraved borders surrounding a central crest, also with metal mounts, length measuring 6.5 cm. (2).

Condition Report
Both boxes display some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Tarnishing to metal mounts. Some staining and discolouration to mother-of-pearl. The octagonal box has some pin holes, it is likely that some of the original pins are missing and some are replacements. The decoration on the mother-of-pearl is very worn, some heavier scratches. It is possible that the enamel panel was added later? The second box has a large crack through the base. This item may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
