Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted and tortoiseshell trinket box, the circular form raised on three paw feet and the tortoiseshell hinged lid inlaid with trailing leaves and flowers, hallmarked Birmingham 1919, maker's mark worn, maximum diameter measuring 5.5 cm. Together with a further tortoiseshell trinket box of plain circular form with removable lid, diameter measuring 6 cm. (2).

Condition Report
The silver mounted tortoiseshell box displays considerable wear with tarnishing, surface marks, scratches and many small dints. The base lining is in very poor condition and would need to be replaced. Hinges appear in working order. Some of the hallmarks are rubbed but still legible, maker's mark very worn. The other box displays some general surface marks and scratches. These items may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
