A mid-Victorian silver dish, of shallow circular form having a frilled rim and embossed with village landscape. Hallmarked Robert Roskell, Alan Roskell & John Mortimer Hunt, London 1886, and further marked 'Hunt & Roskell 9138'. Diameter measures 4 3.8 inches (11 cm), weight 1.68 ozt (52.1 grams).
