A nineteenth century French scent bottle, the fluted cranberry glass body of slightly tapering form and painted with gilt motifs, with floral and foliate embossed silver-gilt hinged lid and collar. Boar guarantee marks and maker's mark. Height measuring 9.5 cm.

Condition Report
The bottle appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Several nibbles or small chips to the glass around the neck just below the mount. Further minor nibbles throughout. Some wear and loss to gilt decoration. Gilding to the silver neck and lid is quite worn and faded but brighter to the interior. Hinge in good working order. Stopper appears jammed in position. Boar marks located to collar and lid and maker's mark to neck rim.
