Lot Description
A nineteenth century French scent bottle, the clear glass body of slender teardrop shape, having silver-gilt openwork and floral engraved mounts, and a similarly decorated bulbous, hinged lid. Boar guarantee mark to lower mount. Height measuring 11 cm.

Condition Report
The bottle appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Metal mounts are a little tarnished and gilding a little worn or faded to some areas. Possible small repair to the lower rim of the shoulder mount. A couple of minor dints. Hinged lid appears in working order, although a slight gap remains on one side when in closed position. Stopper appears jammed in position. Boar guarantee mark to lower mount, shoulder mount and lid apppear unmarked.
