Lot Description
A nineteenth century French scent flask, the amethyst coloured glass body of shaped oval form and having silver overlay decoration of floral swags and scroll motifs, with pierced stopper and suspension chain attached to a silver ring decorated with foliate scrolls. French boar guarantee marks. Maximum height to stopper measuring 7.5 cm.

Condition Report
The flask displays some general wear, surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Tarnishing to metal and was possibly once gilded as traces remain. Some losses to areas of overlay decoration and also small areas of damage/repair are visible. Minor nibbles to glass. Boar mark is visible to neck and ring.
