Lot Description

Two clear glass scent bottles, the first cut-glass example with floral embossed gilt metal mounts and hinged cover, height measuring 8.5 cm, the second with plain ovoid shape body and the gilt metal mounts also with floral scroll decoration, engine turning and engraved coronet to hinged lid, height measuring 7 cm. (2).

Both bottles display some general wear, surface marks and scratches, also some tarnishing to metal mounts. Edge nibbles and small chips to the cut glass body and a crack visible to the neck. Hinged lids appear in working order although the one on the cut glass bottle is a little loose. Both metal mounts appear unmarked. One bottle with glass stopper and one without.
