A Victorian silver vinaigrette, the oblong form with scalloped outline, scroll engraved and the hinged cover depicting a view of Crystal Palace and opening to a silver-gilt interior with pierced grille. Hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1850. Length measuring 3.4 cm, weight 15.6 grams.
