A 1930's silver sugar sifter, of baluster form having flower head motifs to the lower body and planished surface to the whole, raised upon a circular foot. Hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1930. Height measures 6 5/8 inches (17.5 cm), weight 5.24 ozt (162.8 grams).

The sifter appears in poor condition with heavy rubbing throughout, particularly to the pierced cover, causing loss to planished surface and with distortion to foot and finial. Hallmarks partly worn but still clear and legible.
